Post number 11 ---> important challenges your discipline is currently facing.

hello again, my blogger friends. this is the second post of the day. yes, Judy is insane again. today’s subject is about important challenges that sociology is currently facing. I think that this is a very strange subject, and I think that I don’t know enough about sociology to write a complete answer, but I’ll do my best.
I think that the problems that the sociology is thinking from his birth is still a discussion, the hole idea of the modernity and all that stuff.
besides, sociology is now in a place where you can look a lot of subjects, and in general, they are all problems. We could say that sociology is always looking for social problems to resolve (or to trying to resolve). for example, related to technology, sociology is always looking how the technology affects the social relationships and of corse how they affect the wellbeing of the population.
in the education subject, sociology study how the education is related with the forms of conservation or change the society stratification.
as you can see, sociology is related with a lot of subjects, and there are always challenges that the discipline is trying to resolve.
I think that one of the problems that the discipline have is that sociologists are very influenced by the market, and they are working in the problems that other people want answers, that in general are not very important for the society but for they own benefit. an example of that is the market studies
Now, even the formation of the sociologists is influenced for the working market, and no for the society needs. that’s a very important subject, because we are taking the risk of turn the sociologist into an methodological technical, without their important knowledge about theory, and that can’t be.
I don’t know what else to say. I know that the sociology has more problems, but I don’t feel a very good person to speak about them, because I don’t know that much about them. Besides, I’m just starting to study sociology, and I have a long life to talk about this subject.
good night & good luck.

number 10 ---> Free time interests/activities/hobbies.

Hello blogger friends. I hope you’re good. today, I’m going to write about my free time activities. this is a very typical topic for an English class, I think. Ok, let’s go.

when I have some free time, I like to read a good book, a novel, or poetry, but I don’t like short stories that much. I like listening music, and playing my clarinet. besides, I love to go to the theatre, because I like drama a lot, and I have been in a drama class for four years, and I like watching movies, in the cinema or in my house. obviously, I like to hang out with my friends. unfortunately, now that I’m in the university, I have less free time, and I can’t do all the things I like to in my non class time. but, I always find a time, even if it’s a short time, to do things that I like. I like to have more free time to do all that thing that I like to do, specially for read more, because now I feel that I’m only reading about sociology, and as you can imagine, sometimes it’s very boring. I like to read a novel, a very good novel, but I’m steel looking for it, and time to read it.
I think that I don’t have some illegal/forbidden things in my favourite things to do list, so, this part is very FOME, I think.
talking about things that eat’s into my free time, this is a very good example, an English class on Monday morning, in which we have to write this blog J. Besides, all the things that you have to read when you’re studying a career like sociology consumes a lot of time, and after reading all that you don’t have the interest of reading anything else, and I don’t like that.
there is other thing that consumes all my free time, and is called facebook. I hate it, but I use it all the time. it’s like an addiction. it’s like the TV, I don’t like that much, but when I have some free time I watch it without thinking.
that’s it my friends.
good night and good luck.

Post number --> 9

Hello, my blogger friends, I’m writing today my second post, because Judy is crazy today. She want that we write tree post!!well, as you can see, I`m going to write about the Social Science Faculty, my beloved faculty (jojó).this faculty is in the Juan Gómez Millas campus, with other faculties, the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Art, the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities, and the Institute of Communication and Image.The Social Science Faculty is a four flour building, with a library (jajaja), and a canteen.The only problem is that the faculty was build to have space for tree careers (sociology, anthropology and psychology), but now we have four (education is a new career in this faculty). And now we haven’t enough space for all the students

Evaluated Post --> BlowUp.

Good day, my blogger friends.
Today, I'm going to write about my favourite film, BlowUp, the opera prima of the Italian director Michelangelo Antonioni. That's his first English language film, and the plot is based on a short story of the Argentinean writer Julio Cortázar, called “Las Babas del Diablo”.

The plot is about a photographer, Thomas, that accidentally photograph a crime scene, but without knowing it. In the Maryon Park, he takes pictures of two lovers. After, when he’s in his house, he starts to make many blowups to one of the pictures. These blowups have very rough film grain but nonetheless seem to show a body lying in the grass and a killer lurking in the trees with a gun. I’m not going to tell you how the film finish, but it’s my favourite, so I really recommend it.

BlowUp is my favourite movie, not because of the actors, that I really don’t like very much, but because the direction of it. In this film is my favourite scene, when Thomas is taking pictures to two teenager models, and they take some fabrics of many colours and play with them. It’s a really beautiful scene, the best of the world I think.

About the cast of the film, I can say that Thomas is performed by David Hemmings, but I don’t like how he performed his character. It proves that a film could be very good with a very bad perform.

The music of this film was written by Herbie Hancock, and in the last third of the film, there is a scene when The Yardbirds perform “Roll On”.

That’s it. I hope that you can watch this very beautiful movie.

Good night and good luck.

-> the courrent situation of Honduras <-

hello, my blogger friends! today, as you can see in the title, i'm going to write about the current situation of Honduras.the situation started when the constitutional president Zelaya proposed to do a referendum in wich the Honduran people will discouse about if they wanted to change their constitution.the problem started when the military forces carried out a coup d'état, and they take out the president, and they put the sucker Micheletti (the president of the National Assembly, the Honduran Congress), of president. the international community condemned the coup d'état, but in the acts, they haven't do anything to bring the democracy back to Honduras. the only action that they have done, is to block the exportations to Honduras.after the mediation of the OEA (American States Organization), and of the president of Costa Rica, Micheletti said that he isn't going to left the power to Zelaya, he restrict some constitutional rights to the people of Honduras. that's the sign of his stupidity, because he said that he take the power because Zelaya was doing things against the constitution, but now he's doing it as well. but of corse, that's not the real reason of the coup d'état. obviously the coup d'état was planed for the economical élite of Hondura, that think that Zelaya could do some democratical changes that could have damage their economical interes.a few days ago, Zelaya has returned to Hondurasn and he's now in the Brazilian embassy, with political asylum.
i think that the only way to finish this problem is with the return of Zelaya to the power in Honduras, and with a recognition of the entire world of the right of a people to choose his way of living. that's the real democracy.
good night & good luck.

What to do and where to go in Santiago, Chile.

hello! today, i'm talking about this new amazing subject, "what to do an where to go in Santiago". i think that this is a very beautiful subject, because i love living in Santiago. i love pollution and noise, i love the river and the squares. i think that one of the most beautiful places in Santiago, is the Cerro Santa lucía (or Cerro Huelén, that's the real name of that place). i love to go to the cafes near to the Museum of Fine Arts, like the "De la Barra" cafe (the name is because that cafe is in the José Miguel de la Barra street).other places to go, in Santiago, Chile, are, the "Teatro Municipal", or the "Mercado Central". besides, in Ñuñoa, the place where i live, there is the "Club de Jazz de Santiago" (Santiago's Jazz Club), where you can listen the best of the chilean jazz, or the "Plaza Ñuñoa" (Ñuñoa Square).
Another place very traditional, is the "Plaza de Armas" (the central square), and the "Quinta Normal", a beautiful park where are a lot of museums, like the "Museo de Historia Natural" (Museum of Natural History), and the "Museo de los Trenes" (the museum of the trains).

in my opinion, the best way to know santiago is just takeing a bus, or just walking around (like the Neruda's poem).
well, i need a few more words, so, this is the "relleno" to finally go to bed, because i'm very tired. see you tomorrow!
good night and good luck.

The Congress in Buenos Aires. ALAS.

hello bloggers!
well, i was very sick last week, so now i have to write two posT!
the first of them, is this, about the ALAS congress in Buenos Aires.
ALAS meens Latin American Sociology Asociation, and, we, sociology students, where there to have a bath of sociological knowledge, and i did.
the only problem that i had in the congress, was about the organization, because there were a lot of times that we arrived to the places where supostly were the conferences, and there weren't there, or things like that.
actualy, besides the congres, I had the oportunity to walk a lot in Buenos Aires, and to know better a lot of places.
the congress was a very good oportunity to hang out with our classmates, and to know another reality, like the argentinian way of life.
as you can see, i don't know what else to write, because i came back two weeks ago, and i have talk a lot about that, so i don't have new ideas. mmm..
I think that the best conference I went was the first one, about the history of the critical thinking. it was in the theater of the faculty if medicin.
and there are two hundred words.
good night and good luck.
